Another reading tip for B120

Today week three of B120 will finish and we are heading straight into the fourth week. I hope you all got safe through most of Leviticus. It should be easier reading through it quickly rather than wondering what each of these strange law is all about. It will come together over time, I'm sure.

I was naughty and stuck my nose into judges a bit already (no, I'm not ahead) and noticed something: "Then Samson went down with his father and mother to Timnah, and they came to the vineyards of Timnah. And behold, a young lion came toward him roaring. Then the Spirit of the LORD rushed upon him, and although he had nothing in his hand, he tore the lion in pieces as one tears a young goat." Jdg 14:5-6
Samson - a judge of Israel - young lion!!! Very interesting! "There was a certain man of
Zorah, of the tribe of the Danites, whose name was Manoah." Jdg 13:2 And Manoah was the father of Samson... so Samson was from the tribe of Dan. Got it? Notice something?

"Dan shall judge his people as one of the tribes of Israel.
Dan shall be a serpent in the way, a viper in the path,
that bites the horse's heels
so that his rider falls backward." Ge 49:16-17

"Dan is a lion's cub that leaps from Bashan." Dt 33:22
lion's cub = young lion

Mmmh... There is so much in these prophecies about those tribes, that is just enigmatic. But at least in the case of Dan some things come together. So I wondered if it would be worth it, to add certain chapters of the Bible to your weeks reading list. Of course you have to see what you can manage, but would it not help to make more connections like this by reading Genesis 49, Dt 33, Lev 26, Dt 28 and a few others on a weekly basis as you are doing B120. How much more is there to find out? ..."that leaps from Bashan." what????

That could look like this: Genesis 49 once a week with the first B120. Next time you do it, you read Dt 33 on a weekly basis etc. Those would can make more time, can do all four as in Monday: Ge 49, Wednesday, Dt 33 etc. Just an idea if you think that could add some spice to your reading meal.
